The department has dedicated information support from a team of clerical staff and information specialists. The department also has dedicated Internet access for staff.
Excellent Equipment/Facilities
Each of the Physiotherapy departments has a wide range of modern equipment. Investment in equipment is seen as a integral part of service planning in much the same way as the training and development of staff.
Good Senior to Junior Ratio
Bradford has one of the best ratios between its senior and junior grades. This gives junior staff an excellent resource for training and expertise.
Two Hospital Sites
The Trust has two large hospital sites with a combined bed base of around 1200. St Luke's hospital is located near the city centre with the larger Bradford Royal Infirmary some three miles away.
Number of Staff
Bradford has a large Physiotherapy department over two hospital sites (over 100 staff). This large staff base offers excellent opportunities training and development.
Charter Mark 2000 Winners
The department has recently been awarded the prestigious Charter Mark award for "the provision of high quality public services". This award reflects our continuing commitment to providing excellent care to our patients.
