Cardiac Rehab

The Psychology team work closely with other professionals within Cardiac Services to provide holistic patient care. We participate in exercise classes and patient education.

Child Development Centre

We provide specialist assessment and intervention for children up to the age of 12 years who have neuro-developmental disorders, disabilities and complex health needs

Chronic Pain

We participate in the Chronic Pain Rehabilitation Service. Referrals can be made for individual psycholgical therapy for patients who have complex chronic pain problems.

Diabetes

The Psychology team see people who have Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes. We work closely with the Diabetes multi disciplinary team.

Intensive Care Unit

We work in partnership with the ICU team offering pychological support services to ICU patients, relatives/friends and staff.

Palliative Care

A specialist service as part of the Community Palliative Care Team for patients and relatives in community settings. Working with multidisciplinary team to offer holistic care for peiple with both cancer and non cancer diagnoses.

Plastic Surgery

Psychological problems relating to or affecting treatment in plastic surgery. Assessments for an opinion of appropriateness of timing of surgery, or for preparation for surgery. This may be for the patient and or their family.

Psychosexual Therapy

We offer a service to individuals or couples experiencing sexual relationship difficulties. Also those who experiencing sexual relatioinship difficulties related to a general health problem or to the consequence of treatment for a physical illness

Renal Service

The service is offered to renal patients and their families. We work with multidisciplinary team to offer holistic patient care. Assessments are offered as part of the process prior to transplant.
