Cardiac Rehab
The Psychology team work closely with other professionals within Cardiac Services to provide holistic patient care. We participate in exercise classes and patient education.
About our Service
Location
Outpatients St Lukes Hospital, Westwood Park,
Westbourne Green, Windhill Green Medical Centre
Rehabilitation and education sessions are in Bradford Royal Infirmary, Westood Park and some community centres across Bradford
Referral Criteria
Psychological problems related to Cardiac Rehab: Anxiety, Depression, Adjustment Problems, Sleep Problems, Illness Management Problems, Adjustment to Illness, Complex Treatment DecisionsReferral Pathway
Outpatients - usually referred by Cardiac Specialist Nurse or by a Doctor.Inpatieints - may be seen on the cardiac ward and referred by the ward team.
Self Referral - individuals have self referred via the exercisie class or re-refer for further treatment
Must do M.U.S.T in Bradford
