Location
Outpatients are seen at St Lukes, Diabetese Unit at BRI, Westwood Park, Westbourne Green, Windhill Green Medical Centre plus other community clinics in and around Bradford
Referral Criteria
Referrals for illness management problems related to Diabetes e.g. following diabetic regime, illness misconceptions, weight loss
Referral Pathway
Referrals usually from GP, Diabetes Nurse Specialist, Consultant Diabetologist from patients who have consented of psychological input. Access is also available from diabetes satellite clinics
Additional Information
Treatments are tailored to individual needs and include, pacing and goal setting, integrated therapy approaches, problem solving. We provide patient information leaflets, and also leaflets about the psychological impact of diabetes
